About the Role
As a Generator Protection & Excitation System Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing single-line diagrams, developing control logic for new and retrofitted generators, configuring protective relays, performing fault analysis, and ensuring compliance with NEC, IEEE, and IEC standards. You will also maintain detailed documentation of protection settings and system configurations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in power system protection, specifically generator protection.
- Proficiency in protection software tools (ETAP, PSCAD etc.).
- Familiarity with protective relays (Siemens, ABB etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
