- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
- Licensed by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
- National Board Dental Examination license for general dentistry.
- DEA or eligibility to obtain.
- Must be eligible for Medicare/Medicaid provider participation.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and patient support.
- High ethical standards and team spirit.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Experience with EHR systems (Open Dental a plus).

MyCHN is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Brazoria, Galveston, and Harris County, Texas, that provides professional growth and development in a group practice providing primary health care for adults and children, women’s health services, behavioral health, and general dentistry. MyCHN is dedicated to continuous quality improvement and the ideal candidate will work within a team to ins e comprehensive and excellent care. MyCHN clinics are dedicated to Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) principles and practices. In 2015, MyCHN elected to develop an open source electronic health record and modify it to support the needs of an FQHC. MyCHN partnered with Williams Medical Technology in this endeavor which required significant additions to the system; including, design, documentation, reporting, workflow, and billing. MyCHN's key staff members and Williams Medical Technology programming staff meet at least weekly to further the development of interoperability, clinic workflow, decision support systems, data warehouse, and patient communications.
