About the Role
As a General Activities Therapist 2, you will be responsible for implementing structured therapeutic and entertainment activities, serving as a member of an interdisciplinary team, observing participants, preparing documentation, performing security functions, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also be involved in the storage and maintenance of supplies and may relieve supervisors in their absence.
About You
Required:
- 30 months of experience with coaching, personal training, or fitness instruction, or 30 months of experience providing work direction to incarcerated persons and training or development.
- Completion of an associate degree in recreation with 12 months of experience in activity therapy or recreation, or completion of an undergraduate core program in recreation with 6 months of experience in activity therapy or recreation.
Preferred:
- Experience as a General Activities Therapist 1.
- Skills in Therapy/Therapeutical Services, Parks and Recreation, Organizing and Planning, Problem Solving, and Teamwork.
