About the Role
As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing inpatient care, including consults and rounding, with a patient load of approximately 25 per day. The position requires 24-hour call coverage from Thursday 5 PM to Thursday 5 PM, and does not involve advanced procedures such as ERCP or EUS. You will be part of a team of three permanent full-time GI physicians and will help maintain a call rotation while covering for locums.
About You
Required:
- Must be licensed in Indiana (IN) or have IMLC certification.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Preferred:
- Experience in inpatient GI service coverage.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
