Summary
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Mid Full Stack Developer to join their team in Arlington, VA. The role involves developing software and systems from vision to production-ready solutions in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Mid Full Stack Developer, you will resolve problems with complete end-to-end solutions, using your passion to learn new tools and techniques. You will help clients overcome challenges using the latest architectural approaches and ensure that solutions consider current architecture and future enhancements.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience with full stack software development, including designing, developing, modifying, and implementing custom web-based software applications.
- 3+ years of experience with back-end software development using Java, Python, or NodeJS.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Experience with software development processes, including unit tests, CI/CD processes, and using Git for version control.
- Experience working with non-SQL and SQL database development, including Postgres.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including use of technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
- Knowledge of front-end design and data visualization techniques and best practices.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience with React, Leaflet, D3, JavaScript, Python, Java, Node.js, SQL, Server-Side Development, Middleware, Application or Data Integration, API Development, or Core Application Systems.
- Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability.
- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation.
- Experience with API development and OAuth.
- Experience with serverless architecture, such as Lambda and API Gateway.
- Experience with developing Geospatial UIs and implementing DevOps mechanisms for projects.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and distill information into coherent narratives.
- Secret clearance.
- AWS Gov Cloud or AWS Certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certification.
