About the Role
As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for driving forklift trucks equipped with various lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, and move raw paper materials and finished products. Your daily tasks will include loading and unloading semi-trailer trucks, maintaining accurate inventory, performing safety checks on lifts, and ensuring the proper operation of the forklift.
About You
Required:
- Skilled in handling controls for starting, stopping, backing, and driving forklifts or clamp trucks.
- Ability to recognize the dimensions and weight capacity of the forklift and its load.
- Knowledge of the layout of the storage area to efficiently find and place items.
Preferred:
- Experience in operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and inventory management.
