About the Role
As a Food Service Assistant, you will report to the Food Service Supervisor and be responsible for tasks such as assembling patient food trays, delivering meals, cleaning serviceware, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work area. You will work in different positions based on daily needs, including tray assembly, dishroom duties, and food delivery to patient pantries.
About You
Required:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and to understand written and oral instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred:
- A minimum of six (6) months experience in the food service industry preferred.
