Summary
Frontier Waste Solutions is seeking a Fleet Service Technician to join their team in Manor, TX. The role involves inspecting, repairing, diagnosing, and performing routine preventative maintenance on all vehicles and equipment.
About the Role
As a Fleet Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services, diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment. You will also prepare and maintain maintenance records, conduct safety checks, and perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment and truck maintenance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technician position with knowledge of gasoline and diesel powered equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to perform basic inspections with limited supervision on various heavy truck or automotive systems.
- Must possess own hand tools.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with welding.
- Graduate from an accredited automotive college or technical school.
- Commercial Driver’s License is a plus.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus.
