Summary
MFS Investment Management is seeking a Fixed Income Research Associate Intern to join their team in Boston, MA. The internship program runs from May through August 2026 and is designed for undergraduate students in their penultimate year.
About the Role
As a Fixed Income Research Associate Intern, you will analyze company and industry fundamentals relevant to securities, assist in formulating investment decisions, keep abreast of market developments, build and update financial models, develop research reports, communicate ESG risks and opportunities, and collaborate with various teams across the investment platform.
About You
Required:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex projects.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
Preferred:
- Interest in developing a career in investment management.
- Experience with financial modeling or research.
