The Avon Company is seeking a Finished Goods Planner to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves analyzing total demand and developing a supply plan that balances service, inventory, and cost.
About the Role
As a Finished Goods Planner, you will be responsible for managing buy decisions for finished goods, partnering with suppliers to develop production schedules, communicating service outlooks, managing inventory levels, and analyzing sales and shipment data. You will also impact facility goals concerning cost, service, and capacity restraints, and perform financial reporting as needed.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Supply Chain Management.
- One year of experience in a Supply Chain role.
- Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of MRP II concepts.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience evaluating and communicating reports to production and planning.
- APICS certification.
- Desire to look for areas for process improvements.
