Charles Schwab is seeking candidates for the Financial Consultant Academy - January and April 2026 Cohorts. This program prepares individuals to work as Financial Consultants, focusing on client relationships and business development.
About the Role
The Financial Consultant Academy is a 15-month rotational program designed to equip participants with the skills and experience necessary for a career in financial consulting. Participants will study for and pass the FINRA SIE, Series 7, and 66 exams, engage in hands-on training within the Client Service & Support organization, and receive wealth management and sales training. Graduates will transition into business development roles, with the goal of becoming Financial Consultants within 1-2 years.
About You
Required:
- Completed bachelor’s degree prior to cohort start date or equivalent work-related experience.
- Ability to travel occasionally during the program (less than 10% of the year).
Preferred:
- FINRA SIE license.
- 1+ year of customer service experience.
- 1+ year of sales experience.
- Openness to learn.
- Be coachable.
- Demonstrate relationship management skills through listening and supporting clients' needs.
- Highly preferred spoken languages: Mandarin or Cantonese; preferred spoken languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, French or German.
