Summary
Charles Schwab is seeking candidates for the Financial Consultant Academy - January and April 2026 Cohorts, a 15-month rotational program designed to prepare future Financial Consultants to work directly with clients.
About the Role
As a participant in the Financial Consultant Academy, you will engage in a structured program that includes studying for and passing the FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 66 exams, hands-on training in Client Service & Support, and wealth management training. The program aims to develop your consultative skills and prepare you for a business development role, ultimately leading to a Financial Consultant position within 1-2 years.
About You
Required:
- Completed bachelor’s degree prior to cohort start date or equivalent work-related experience.
- Ability to travel occasionally during the program (less than 10% of the year).
Preferred:
- FINRA SIE license.
- 1+ year of customer service experience.
- 1+ year of sales experience.
- Openness to learn.
- Be coachable.
- Demonstrate relationship management skills through listening and supporting clients' needs.
- Highly preferred spoken languages: Mandarin or Cantonese; preferred spoken languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, French or German.
