As a Financial Clearance Representative III - Infusion, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance, confirming benefits eligibility, performing authorization and pre-certification, and calculating patient liability. You will also review medical records to obtain necessary information for authorization requests related to treatment plans.
About You
Required:
- High School Degree in Medical terminology course or equivalent knowledge.
- 1-2 years experience in insurance verification or precertification.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and insurance vocabulary.
- Understanding of government and non-government third party benefits and coverage rules.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years experience with treatment/therapy plans.
- Background in managed care or patient billing.
- Experience with automated patient account systems or online verification systems.
