About the Role
As a FEDERAL CCNP Route & Switch Network Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring network hardware, troubleshooting network issues, optimizing network performance, and ensuring network security. You will interact with other IT professionals to support a Top Secret environment and must hold a CCIE Route & Switch certification.
About You
Required:
- CCNP (CCIE Preferred) certification in Routing and Switching (Both Written & Lab completed)
- Experience with network design, implementation, and management in the federal space (DOD)
- Top Secret clearance required
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred:
- Experience with Catalyst Router and Switch LAN and WAN environment with ISE running for 802.1x
- ICE experience preferred
- Skills in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware
- Knowledge of network performance optimization and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
