Summary
National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a Family Therapist in Morrow County, OH (LSW or LPC) to provide Functional Family Therapy (FFT) to at-risk youth and their families.
About the Role
As a Family Therapist, you will deliver Evidence-Based Mental Health Services to adolescents, youth, and children, as well as their families, focusing on behavioral issues, substance abuse, delinquency, and conduct disorder. You will manage a small caseload, travel daily to provide services, and participate in training to obtain FFT certification. Your role includes regular reviews of treatment plans, assisting in family reunification efforts, and providing crisis response and behavioral stabilization services.
About You
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
- LSW or LPC required (LISW or LPCC preferred).
- Experience in providing both individual and family therapy.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
Preferred:
- Experience working in direct service with youth and families.
- Good computer and technology skills.
