About the Role
As a Factory Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining digital models, integrating laser guided vehicles with manufacturing workflows, troubleshooting automation systems, collaborating across engineering and IT departments, analyzing data for system optimization, documenting processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring technical personnel.
About You
Required:
- Degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Controls & Robotics or equivalent education/experience.
- 5 years of experience with Automated System Controls (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens).
- 3 years of experience with Industrial protocol communications (Ethernet, Profinet).
- Advanced experience and knowledge of PLC, HMI & SCADA programming.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with digital modeling technologies or simulation software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
