BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Facility Support Engineer to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves performing maintenance and operational tasks for electrical systems in critical infrastructure environments.
About the Role
As a Facility Support Engineer, you will be responsible for taking daily operational readings of electrical equipment, performing preventative maintenance on uninterruptible power supplies and system control panels, troubleshooting and repairing instrument sensors, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. You will work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in data centers or similar critical infrastructure settings.
About You
Required:
- Experience with electrical systems in high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, or pharmaceuticals.
- OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g. automotive, electrical, controls, data center).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Preferred:
- Previous datacenter experience.
- Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
- Qualified Electrical Worker.
