About the Role
As a Facilities Locator, you will individually manage an area caseload of underground cable locate requests, accurately locating all buried facilities within a 3-day window. You will utilize various tools and software to perform your tasks, communicate with excavation contractors, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will assist in damage investigations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and ability to complete required training within 6 months.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions.
Preferred:
- Related work experience or knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
