About the Role
As an F-16 Senior Avionics Software Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the engineering and technical design, development, integration, verification, and qualification for airworthiness certification of F-16 software. Your duties will include developing new mission computers, display processors, and radar systems, as well as monitoring contractor development and resolving software program anomalies.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
- Expertise in U.S. military aircraft OFP development and proficiency in C++ programming.
Preferred:
- BA/BS degree with 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, including 5 years in the DoD.
- Experience in translating and re-hosting programs from older to newer computer languages and processors.
