About the Role
As an Exercise Specialist - Sports Performance, you will be responsible for creating developmentally appropriate training programs, implementing long-term athlete development plans, and assessing athlete performance. You will communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and coaches, assist in marketing sports performance programs, and provide after-school weight room coverage at local high schools.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field.
- 1 year experience in sports performance training.
- Obtain a national certification by at least one of the specified organizations within 180 days.
- BLS Certification.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Strength and Conditioning or related field.
- 3 years experience working with athletes from various backgrounds in training and conditioning.
- Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.
- Movement-based assessment and evaluation certification.
