Avamere Communities is seeking an Executive Director to join their team at Arete Grande Ronde Retirement in La Grande, OR. The role involves overseeing the administration of the community, ensuring quality service, and meeting financial goals.
About the Role
As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the overall administration of the community, including strategic planning, financial activities, and reporting. You will maintain service quality and occupancy targets, provide leadership in service systems, ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, assist in hiring personnel, and stay informed of health industry trends.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in the health industry, business, or gerontology preferred unless state requires an advanced degree.
- Two years’ experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a retirement or assisted living community.
- Must have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Must obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
- Must have an active Oregon RCF License.
Preferred:
- Experience managing high quality senior living communities with demonstrated success in meeting financial goals specific to assisted or independent living communities.
- Knowledgeable of Assisted Living operational standards.
- Able to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
