About the Role
As an Estimating Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing engineering drawings, engaging with customers, and supporting sales and marketing efforts. Your key tasks will include ensuring quotes align with profitability targets, conducting supplier research, and participating in design reviews to enhance manufacturing processes.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with tool and die or die design exposure.
- Experience in tool and die, particularly in metal stamping.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (such as Visi 3D Progress or SolidWorks).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with proficiency in Excel and estimating software.
Preferred:
- Some experience in cost estimating and quoting.
- A customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
