About the Role
As an Estate Planning Attorney, you will represent clients at court hearings, meet with clients to discuss asset distribution objectives, collaborate with senior partners and paralegals, analyze client situations, and develop legal strategies. You will also draft and review estate planning documents, advise clients on estate planning methods, assist with probate proceedings, and oversee estate and trust administration.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; undergraduate degree required.
- Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.
- A minimum of one to two years of law firm experience handling estate planning and probate matters.
- Familiarity with trusts and estates practice, including estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
Preferred:
- Understanding of tax planning, asset protection, wealth transfer, and business entity formation.
- Experience with federal estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns.
- Knowledge of real estate matters such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and related litigation.
- Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA).
