City of Fort Collins is seeking an Equipment Operator - Streets (Ground Work & Truck Driver) to join their Streets Department in Fort Collins, CO. The role involves operating and maintaining various types of equipment for street construction, maintenance, and snow removal.

About the Role

As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Streets Department, including minor and major construction of streets and alleys, snow and ice removal, and recycling operations. You will operate equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, dump trucks, and street sweepers, and may also perform general building maintenance and train other employees as needed.

About You

Required:

High school diploma or GED.
Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
One to two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

Previous truck driving experience.
Ability to operate a variety of light to heavy sized equipment and/or vehicles.
Knowledge of general vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.
