About the Role
As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will be responsible for following departmental guidelines to service and maintain cleanliness in patient areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated areas. Your daily tasks will include stocking supplies, maintaining equipment, and adhering to policies regarding patient isolation. You will also need to demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a potentially stressful environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Good basic reading and writing skills; ability to add and subtract and handle other arithmetic functions.
Preferred:
- One to three months on-the-job training to learn departmental policies and procedures.
- Basic understanding of age-specific developmental stages of patients.
