Summary
APTIM is seeking an entry level Environmental Scientist/Geologist located in the Corpus Christi, Texas area to conduct environmental site investigations and remedial actions.
About the Role
As an Environmental Scientist/Geologist, you will conduct field work, desktop analysis, and reporting, while applying your knowledge to a variety of environmental situations. Key responsibilities include providing technical support to clients, collecting and interpreting environmental samples, executing field work, conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, and drafting technical documents for regulatory compliance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Hydrology, or related field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of experience in environmental site assessment and technical report preparation.
- Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT) certification.
- Current HAZWOPER certification.
- Experience working in Texas geologic environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and scientific computer programs.
