Minnesota Housing is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect Supervisor to join their Business Technology Support (BTS) team in St Paul, MN. The role involves leading data engineering and data services functions to shape the enterprise data strategy.
About the Role
As an Enterprise Data Architect Supervisor, you will provide strategic and technical leadership for the enterprise data environment, overseeing the design, build, and maintenance of data infrastructure and pipelines. You will supervise a team of data professionals, implement self-service tools, establish SLAs for data quality, and partner with business leaders to align data capabilities with organizational goals.
About You
Required:
- Seven (7) years of experience in leading enterprise data initiatives, including data engineering and data services functions.
- Four (4) years of experience in an enterprise data architect role.
- Three (3) years of experience managing technical data teams.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, warehouses, and/or data lakes at enterprise scale.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise data tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of experience managing Information Technology budgets.
- Proficiency in the Agile development life cycle (such as Kanban and Scrum methodologies).
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
