Summary
Lightera is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join their Global Information Technology team in Norcross, GA. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall data architecture of the organization to support strategic business goals.
About the Role
As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will develop and execute the enterprise data architecture strategy, collaborate with business leaders to understand data needs, implement data management strategies, design data models and integration strategies, establish data governance frameworks, and oversee the integration of disparate data sources. You will also provide technical leadership during data integration processes and communicate architecture strategies to stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
- Deep expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data governance principles.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), TOGAF, or similar.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and techniques (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
- Experience preparing data for machine learning and AI applications.
