About the Role
As an Engineering Manager, you will balance leadership and technical responsibilities, guiding a team of 3-4 engineers. You will set clear goals, provide feedback, and foster professional growth while diving into the codebase to manage key product features. Collaborating with product managers and designers, you will ensure that the team's work aligns with user needs and integrates the latest AI technologies into the platform. You will also play a crucial role in expanding the team and refining engineering processes as the company grows.
About You
Required:
- 6+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering or product-oriented ML engineering, with previous leadership or mentorship experience.
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, NodeJS, SQL, and Git.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, HTTP, and VSCode / Cursor.
- A product-focused approach, understanding how technical decisions impact user experience and business outcomes.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt, especially in applying AI technologies.
