Northeast Kingdom Human Services (NKHS) is seeking an Employment Support Professional to join their team in Derby, VT. The role involves providing personalized job support to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to help them develop skills for competitive employment.
About the Role
As an Employment Support Professional, you will be responsible for transporting consumers to and from work, developing rapport with individuals, assisting them in overcoming social and emotional issues, and supporting them in developing natural supports at their work sites. You will ensure the safety and well-being of individuals while empowering them to work independently and fostering their growth in the workplace.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.
Preferred:
- Experience working with individuals who have an intellectual/development disability.
