Galois, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Systems Software Engineer to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves performing research on embedded systems and ensuring software assurance for critical systems.
About the Role
As an Embedded Systems Software Engineer, you will engage with clients to gather requirements, construct architectural designs, implement prototypes, and ensure software assurance through various analysis techniques. You will also conduct testing and validation, engage in technology research and development, and develop technical infrastructure to support projects.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a BS in computer science, electrical engineering, or mathematics.
- Experience building highly performant and trustworthy cyber-physical software for mission-critical applications.
- Experience with C, C++, and Rust programming languages.
- Experience with advanced software analysis tools based on symbolic execution.
- Ability to work in a small team to rapidly prototype and operationalize new features.
Preferred:
- Experience developing control algorithms in MATLAB/simulink or Ansys SCADE.
- In-depth understanding of formal verification principles and methods.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
