ABB is seeking an ELSP QC Technician for the 2nd shift to join their team in Mebane, NC. The role involves deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Electrification Smart Power (ELSP) and ensuring quality control to exceed customer expectations.
About the Role
As an ELSP QC Technician, you will inspect and troubleshoot defects, assist other technicians and operators with quality questions, perform inspections using measurement tools, train employees, and uphold product and process compliance to ABB standards.
About You
Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in LP assembly and wiring.
- 1-year experience in quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to document and track data in Microsoft Office Applications.
Preferred:
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word.
- Desired experience in SAP, supplier net, Salesforce, Windchill, Fletch (waiver/NCM workflows), BOX, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work with teams and coordinate activities like rework.
