Summary
VT Group (VTG) is seeking an Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Lead Engineering Technician to support various projects CONUS and OCONUS. The role involves building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic security systems.
About the Role
As an Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Lead Technician, you will be responsible for discussing layout and assembly procedures, reviewing system logs, inspecting access control and surveillance devices, testing equipment, recommending changes to simplify assembly, conducting tests to evaluate performance, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma
- 10 years of installation experience with physical security access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection system hardware.
- Experience with Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).
- Security+ certification.
- Experience leading a team of technicians on installation projects.
Preferred:
- Certifications in any of the security systems mentioned.
- Experience reading and modifying installation designs, drawings, and blueprints.
