About the Role
As an Electrical Distribution Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical distribution systems and equipment, including substations, breakers, switchgear, and transformers. The position requires a combination of office and field work, with approximately 20% out of town travel. You will also plan, schedule, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industrial standards.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering/technology or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of medium voltage (5 kV to 15kV) electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment.
- Medium to high voltage experience and proven experience in installation, troubleshooting, and repairs of medium voltage industrial electrical systems.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/technology or 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in an industrial environment.
- Experience using CMMS systems such as Infor EAM.
