Summary
Group Publishing is seeking an Editor to join their Children's Curriculum Team in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves creating and managing curriculum content that is biblically centered and meets the needs of children today.
About the Role
As an Editor, you will develop and edit content for various audiences, ensuring it meets editorial and brand standards. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage workflows for timely project delivery. This role requires a strong familiarity with Scripture and theology, as well as a detail-oriented approach to editing and content development.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Christian Education, Biblical Studies, or equivalent theological education.
- Minimum 3 years of editorial experience, preferably in curriculum or ministry resources.
- Proficient in editing, copyediting, proofreading, and content development.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Emphasis on English, Communications, Publishing, or related field.
- Children's ministry experience.
- Familiarity with AP Stylebook and/or Chicago Manual of Style.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
