About the Role
As a Substitute Teacher, you will directly supervise and assist children in performing activities, develop lesson plans, coordinate screenings, communicate with families, conduct parent/teacher conferences, and assist in the ongoing recruitment and enrollment of eligible children. You will also oversee classroom operations, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
About You
Required:
- Experience equivalent to an Associate of Arts Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field with 18 hours of ECE and student teaching.
- Experience in a preschool program.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written format.
Preferred:
- Bilingual proficiency and/or experience working with multicultural settings.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education.
