About the Role
As a Dual Credit Adjunct Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching up to seven semester credit hours (up to two courses) in Criminal Justice. Your duties will include developing and managing the class syllabus, planning lectures and assignments, assessing student grades, and mentoring students. You will also communicate with parents and guardians of students in the Dual Credit P-Tech program.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field of Criminal Justice or a terminal degree in the field.
- Demonstrated expertise in the subject area.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred:
- Current relevant professional credentials.
- High School, College, or University teaching experience.
- Evidence of teaching excellence.
- Prior relevant industry experience.
- Bi-lingual (English-Spanish).
