Rehab Without Walls® Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Driver Rehabilitation Professional (CDRS or DRP) to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves conducting clinical and behind-the-wheel evaluations to develop individualized driving rehabilitation plans.
About the Role
As a Driver Rehabilitation Professional, you will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide adaptive training to enhance clients' driving abilities and independence. You will regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and communicate patient needs to the treatment team and family members.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
- Current CPR Certification.
- A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
Preferred:
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses.
- Effective communication skills in verbal and written interactions.
