Summary
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Drafting/Product Definition Technician T3 to join their team in East Hartford, CT. The role involves collaborating with engineers to develop jet engine parts and systems through CAD modeling and data management.
About the Role
As a Drafting/Product Definition Technician T3, you will work under drafting supervision to create parametric solid CAD models for jet engine parts, manage data from concept to procurement, and ensure parts fit within manufacturing tolerances. You will also create 2D drawings and 3D Model Based Definitions (MBD) as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 3 years of product definition or drafting experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred:
- Proficient with ASMEY14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Strong skills in NX and Team Center tools and processes.
- Strong communication and teaming skills.
- An active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
