As a District Sign Technician I or II, you will perform entry-level and skilled transportation-related work, including maintaining inventory and records of signs and materials, operating specialized tools and equipment, and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with traffic control standards. You will also assist transportation maintenance crews and respond to emergency situations as needed.
About You
Required:
- Valid US driver's license at the time of application.
- Class 'A' Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with N endorsement at the time of application.
- 1 year of experience in sign installation and/or repair, roadway maintenance, construction, transportation engineering support, heavy equipment operation, or related work experience for District Sign Technician II.
Preferred:
- Related college education or relevant technical training may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
