About the Role
As the Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee all aspects of the inpatient pharmacy, including medication dispensing and inventory management. You will supervise pharmacy staff, collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop pharmaceutical care plans, and establish quality control measures to ensure patient safety. Additionally, you will manage the pharmacy budget and provide ongoing education to staff.
About You
Required:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
- 7-9 years of experience in pharmacy required.
- 3-6 years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital pharmacy setting required.
Preferred:
- Other Pharmacy residency training (PGY1 or PGY2) preferred.
- BCPS - Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist or other BPS specialty preferred.
