About the Role
As the Director of Operations & Automation, you will own one of six core operations pillars: Authorization, Build-Out, Setup, Finance, or PMO. Your responsibilities include solving first-time problems using AI and automation, writing clear specifications and dashboards, interfacing with vendors and regulators, and traveling to campuses as needed to implement solutions. You will be instrumental in building systems that support rapid school expansion with precision and speed.
About You
Required:
- Based in North America and able to travel 10-40% as needed.
- 5+ years in a fast-paced, high-autonomy operations role.
- Proven use of AI tools for research, writing, problem-solving, and automation.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
- Bias for action, low ego, high ownership.
- Experience in permitting, construction, edtech systems, FP&A, or vendor management.
- Familiarity with tools like Klair, Syft, Wrike, Retool, or other low-code stacks.
- Track record of rapid domain ramp-up in legal, finance, compliance, or systems.
