As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for preparing the agency's annual operating and capital budgets, directing all accounting functions, maintaining compliance with accounting and auditing requirements, and developing fiscal policies. You will also supervise the preparation of complex reports and analyses, monitor external audits, and oversee the agency's tax filings and insurance programs.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Public Administration with extensive coursework in Finance and Accounting.
- Extensive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Public sector experience is required.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Combination of public and private sector experience.
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO).
