As the Director of Application Development, you will oversee a team of technology professionals, driving application development initiatives that align with business priorities and regulatory requirements. You will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with risk management policies, and develop strategies that support operational risk management goals. Your role will also involve mentoring team members and maintaining knowledge of industry regulations.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of operational risk management, regulatory compliance, and control frameworks in the banking industry.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
Preferred:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and business environments.
