About You
- A master's degree from an accredited college in a relevant field and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in related areas, including 18 months in an executive or managerial capacity.
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of professional experience in related areas, including 18 months of executive or managerial experience.
- At least four years of experience in legislative affairs, public policy, or intergovernmental relations.
- Strong understanding of the NYC legislative processes and familiarity with the Human Rights Law.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, civil rights, and human rights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret legislative documents and draft policy recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with non-profits, advocacy groups, and government agencies.
