About You
- Bachelor's degree preferred; five or more years of relevant work experience in fundraising for non-profit or educational organizations.
- Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, particularly in individual giving programs.
- Experience with foundations, including identifying prospects and writing grant proposals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor management software, preferably Salesforce.
- Experience in developing strategic revenue plans and performance tracking.
- Passion for social justice and understanding of City Year’s mission.
- Ability to engage diverse audiences and inspire investment through compelling storytelling.
