Summary
CyncHealth is seeking a Director, Engineering to lead their engineering team in La Vista, NE. The role involves guiding the architecture, development, and secure deployment of data platforms and healthcare applications.
About the Role
As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for translating organizational strategy into actionable engineering roadmaps, leading sprint planning, and ensuring agile best practices within engineering teams. You will guide technical direction across cloud infrastructure and secure development practices, mentor engineers, and oversee deployment pipelines to ensure system reliability and compliance with healthcare standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field (Master’s degree strongly preferred).
- 10+ years in engineering with a commitment to new and emerging engineering technology.
- 5+ years in engineering leadership with responsibility over high-performing teams.
- Experience delivering production systems in a healthcare or regulated data environment.
- Expertise in AWS services, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
Preferred:
- Skilled in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Golang.
- Familiarity with healthcare data formats, APIs, and interoperability standards.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
