About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional 2, you will assist individuals who require daily support in activities of daily living, both in a home environment and within the community. Your responsibilities will include providing skills training, managing medical and financial needs, transporting individuals to various activities, and maintaining documentation according to regulatory standards. You will also administer medications and develop positive relationships with guardians and family members.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED; Associates or DSP Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
