About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily living activities, accompanying them on community outings, and supporting treatment plans in collaboration with clinical staff. Your responsibilities will include training participants in skills for daily living, modeling appropriate behavior, and ensuring community involvement and social interactions.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Mississippi Driver's License with satisfactory driving record (no moving violations within 3 years).
- Must be able to obtain Class D license within 30 days of hire.
- Must maintain auto liability limits of 100,000/300,000/50,000.
- Will pass CPR, MANDT, and other required testing.
Preferred:
- Experience working with the IDD population.
- Experience assisting others with ADLs.
