About the Role
As a Direct Care Worker & Family Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily needs, including meal preparation, shopping, transportation arrangements, housekeeping, and personal care tasks such as bathing and toileting. You will ensure that the dignity of each participant is maintained while improving their overall quality of life. Extensive training and support will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
About You
Required:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to treat participants with respect and dignity.
- Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to follow a participant's service plan.
- Possess basic cooking and housekeeping skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in providing personal assistance services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
